COASTAL-CHOWAN FIRST HALF
The Coastal-Chowan game had blowout written all over and so far it hasn't disappointed. Coastal has dominated the undermanned and undersized Hawks in every area in leading 34-0 at the half. Coastal has 373 yards of offense in the first half and five different Chants have scored. Backup quarterback Sean Fortson scored his first career touchdown on a 6-yard run. The Coastal defense also has knocked out Chowan QB Marcus Brown. It's probably in his best interest that he doesn't return tonight.About the best thing from this game is this isn't a TV game so the game has gone quickly and was played in just an hour and 15 minutes, which is quick for college games these days. The clock can't start soon enough to get this done. Check back after the game for a wrapup from the second half.
