Tigers visit King historical site
While you can learn a lot visiting the aquarium, the Clemson Tigers got a different sort of lesson on Friday afternoon. Some members of the team took a tour of the Martin Luther King Jr. Historical Site in downtown Atlanta. There the team saw Dr. King's final resting place - in a tomb with his wife, Coretta Scott King. Also, the players were brought around a former residence of the influential leader, and a museum showcasing some of his honors. Many of the Tigers that showed up were touched by the experience, unfortunately, not a lot of the Tigers did show up. The voluntary visit only consisted of 30 or so of the Tigers. But those that did go, did not regret it.

Clemson Happier This Time Around
For all the Tigers, there's a much different air around the team this year, then during last year's postseason. Of course, we all remember their collapse, when they lost 4 of their last 5, and ended up in the Music City Bowl. The team moped around Nashville, and ended up falling to Kentucky. The team reiterated today how miserable that trip was - with terrible weather, awful practice field conditions, and a sour mood. It couldn't be more opposite this year. Native Atlantan Cullen Harper pointed out, the Tigers can make it to 10 wins with a victory, which is a mark of a great season. The team felt they played well all year, and was rewarded with the Atlanta trip. But this team is still motivated to go home with a victory as well.
