Blogging: Day 1

Hey hey! So I'm new to this whole blogging thing, but I'm sure you old-timers out there can help me along.

Good news: We're half-way through the week! Even better for me, since I was on vacation Monday and Tuesday. 3-day work-week...doesn't get much better than that.

I'm already looking forward to the weekend, though. And unlike most weekends, it's pretty-well already planned! I'm checking out the House of Blues Saturday--the country girl in me is coming out. It's Bluesapalooza at the HOB. Little Big Town is performing and then hometown-boy Trey Davis taking the stage. Should be a good time!

I'm not sure if youv'e seen it, but I do this little "Things to Do" segment on Thursdays. It's pretty sweet--I just give y'all a good idea of what's going on in the area, so you don't have to spend another lame weekend at home. And don't get me wrong, I'm queen of lame weekends--but who doesn't like getting out every now and then? If you haven't seen it, look for it every Thurs. at 5:00 on News13. It's also online here, under "8 Days a Week" (that's our clever way of saying there's so much goin' on around here, you couldn't fit it in 8 days a week!). Let me know about any events going on in the Pee Dee and along the beach...I'm always up for suggestions!

Speaking of which, I need to work on tomorrow's segment....So what are you doing this weekend? Going to a show? Going to a movie? Shooting pool at a poolhall? Jammin' out with the Barber Shop Quartet at MBHS? Tell me what you're up to--I'm always curious!

Until next time...Lata lata!

P.S...Anybody watching American Idol yet? I think the judges really like free-spirited hippies this year.

Well let me be the first to welcome you to the wonderful world of blogging..it’s a pleasure to have you..

However I must say.. at this point..we’d settle for anyone who can type..wink

I have seen you on TV..I’m not an official member of the Rebekah Carter fan club…but that is mainly cause I’m holding out for a special offer..like a free I-pod or a small tv with every membership enrollment..

This weekend when I finish my community service hours..I will likely drink beer til I pass out..Sunday I’ll go by church..No seriously..I’ll go right by it on the way to the boot-legger’s place..

I have been watching American Idol..love the show..Paula Abdul is an idiot..I love living in a country where you can say that..

I’ll be watching you on TV today..wave at me or something so I know you are watching me too..smile

Hi Rebekah! Don’t be afraid of the big bad Wolf®.
Being new to boggling, I mean bloging, he probably scared the day lights out of you. Not to worry, he won’t huff and puff and blow your house down. I have never met him, but he loves to blog and cut the fool. He really seem like a pretty nice guy, although a little strange sometimes. Don’t forget to wave to him this afternoon.

Some suggestions for a new blogger.
1. Keep it simple and short. We’re not here to read a novel
2. Any blogs that contain the word “boobs” gets preferential treatment.
3. We like pictures. Pictures or it didn’t happen.
4. Do not say anything bad about West Vagina.  It tends to stir the pot.

She didnt wave at me…

I can see I’m gonna have problems with this one..she clearly has issues too..just like Patty..

She does get “hottie” points tho..

So I guess another thing to do this weekend is sit around being depressed about me and Rebekah’s failing relationship..

I’m almost over Lyra..and I now accept the fact that I’ll never get over Nickie Boone..wink

My weekend is full. I am playing tennis Sat. morning, if it doens’t rain. Then that night, my softball buddies are going to Mclellanville, to have a women’ night out. We are spending the night. This will be a lot of fun
One more piecec of good news…won the pick 3 the other night. I played straight, and my numbers matched…won $500…yeeeee ha…...........

Is that $500 before or after taxes? Congrats on that. Now go buy 250 tickets and give half of it back for the education fund.

Did you click on bewmson folks? That 2007 Wando
High School tennis team has some lovely young ladies.

According to the I.R.S website..

Moodettes dont pay taxes..

..and most of them cant wear shoes either..wink

I cant believe she actually posted this bit..

“... the other night… I played straight..“

It’s as if she thinks gay people cant read..smile

P.S.

Dave you have got to be the nicest person who ever posted here..

..Mookie..you’re just nasty..*LOL*

I love it!!!!!

Wolf, I know gay people can read…you are too funny. The good news is you don’t have to pay taxes on $500 or less. How do they know? You just give them the ticket, and they give you the money. Sweet!
Thanks for the comment on my tennis girls. They are nice looking, but was it the 2007 team?
I teach school, and we are not going to have subs for teachers if a teacher is absent. Is that happening in Florence? I meant to say, about teaching school, that everybody go out and buy a lottery ticket, so you can help the SC Education situation.
I don’t wear shoes, but I do pay my taxes… grin
When are they going to fix the “no link” in emails. It’s hard to remember to check this site, and I sure can’t do it at school. Big brother blocks everything.

I was seriously hoping that you were gonna say that gay people cant read these posts….

I’ve been having gay thoughts lately (lesbians are somewhat of a turn on to me) and that would have been like a check-engine light for heterosexuals..if you came here and all of a sudden couldnt read the posts..

..then you could just take some more Nyquil or whatever it is that cures gayness..smile

In Florence..if a teacher is absent..they just fire them and let the kids go to study hall..it seems to be working fine..the remaining 6 teachers here never miss a day now..

As for fixing the “no link” in emails..that is another sad story..

My emails include both links..the one to get back here..and the one to stop getting emails when you all post..

I have repeatedly hit the link to stop getting emails when you all post..but the guys at Corporate Headquarters say that on average that only equates to 1.6 emails per month…

They assure me however that if 2 people post 1 comment each day for a solid week..that they will look into a major restructure of their current applications..

..or in other words…deal with it..wink

I need the link to get back here…should I send this everyday. LOL
