Black Friday: Coastal Grand Mall Myrtle Beach
Well..the late risers are out and shopping in full-force at Coastal Grand. Black Friday got off to a slower start. The mall reported 6 thousand cars by 7:30am, but the halls weren't that crowded. Still, the people that did start the day at 4am bought a lot! Most people left with big bags stuffed full. I'm anxious to see how the gas prices and overall higher cost of everything sways people's buying this year.
We heard that nearby big box stores were packed. Electronics being the most wanted items this year, it isn't surprising.
We talked with several people around 8am. Some were said they had "had it." One woman from NC said she spent most of her morning looking for her daughter and granddaughter--she still managed to buy several bags worth!
