Advanced SkyWarn Class Coming to Conway
Are you already a WBTW weather watcher? Would you like to be? Or maybe you're just fascinated by severe weather the way I am. Well, here's your chance!The NWS office in Wilimington asked to help them get the word out that they will be hosting an advanced SkyWarn class in Conway on Saturday, 6/27. If you are a WBTW weather watcher, then you have already completed the basic SkyWarn class through WBTW, but if you have not completed the basic class, you must do so before you can take the advanced class. The good news is that the basic class is now offered ONLINE! Just click on the link below to complete the basic class and then email at the NWS office in Wilmington to sign up for the advanced class.
The class will be held at the M.L. Brown Public Safety building from 2-4 PM Saturday, 6/27. Seating is limited for the class, so get on the ball before time runs out!!
