ABC’s “Lost” lovers blog
I am a dedicated hopelessly devoted "Lost" fan. For those of you who don't watch the show I recommend the following: Stop reading this blog; go out and rent the first three seasons. Then watch the episodes you missed this season on abc.com. Hurry it's not too late you only missed like, three but one was a recap of past episodes so you've only missed two. OK. back to Lost business. Me and Morning News editor Jaime Knight-Reese have decided to regularly post blogs about episodes of Lost. (She and her husband Doug are mega-fans too.) Last week's episode was really interesting. We saw footage of the supposed wreackage of flight 815 in an ocean trench. It makes me wonder who put that footage together, how and why is it so important to have the world think the plane crashed with no survivors? And why is that bald black Oceanic Airlines dude in the first two season four episodes so creepy? Also I just want to say I was a little annoyed with the last episode because they introduced too many new characters . That's just more people to wonder about. I'm cool with new mysteries--I mean that's why I watch the show but it's hard for me to keep track of them and see and take notes of little hidden clues in each episodes. Plus, avid watchers tend to look at each new character and make sure they don't know them from a previous episode, flashback or flashforward. (Sigh) All my Lost fans out there, let me know what you think!

Maybe the people who faked the crash were trying to keep people from looking for the plane. They might have been worried the searchers would stumble across the island.
