A new addition to News13 Morning: Your Hair Day Forecast
If you have long hair, or even if you don't, you probably know that the weather can wreak havic on your hair do, especially in the summer time humidity. While I can't lower the humidity (wouldn't want that power!), I can at least let you know what to expect so you can know when to break out the flat iron (yes I know what one is) and when to throw on a hat and "forget about it."What is the Hair Day Forecast? There's no magic science to it. As a person and as a meteorologist, I know that high humidity makes curly hair curlier, straight hair wavy, and wirey hair like mine extra frizzy. Wind, well, we all know what that does and if you've ever gotten caught in the rain on the way from your car into work for an important meeting, you know what happens there. In the Hair Day Forecast, I take all of these things into account and assign a "Hair Index" of 1 to 5 where 1 is a "bad hair day" and 5 is a "perfect hair day."

This is a very crucial report for me..I have a pony-tail…
There is nothing worse than putting all those hours into making it look just right only to have it go all funky..and curl up like a pig’s tail..especially if you are around beautiful women all day..
Mine doesnt curl up like that..and I am mostly around animals all day..but it is still fun to watch the Hair Day Forecast..just to see if I am going to look better than you on a particular day..
..it’s rare..but it does happen…;)
