I hope your security system includes weapons Jamie. Home invasions are getting more prominent in our society. Being burglarized when you are not at home is one thing, but when somebody forces their way in while you are home or breaks in while you are laying in your bed asleep has to be terrifying. In my case if it happens, somebody is going to get hurt real bad. I would not hesitate to kill somebody over such a thing. 

If you really want to know what is going on around you get a police scanner. Things happen day and night that you never hear about.

I know. Working here has opened my eyes to just how bad people really treat each other. It’s really frightening, so I try not to think about it too much. Once I go home, I try to avoid watching anything news related.

Home invasions must be one of those city crimes that we never get to experience out here in the swamp..

If you can get onto the property here..and past the two killer dogs outside..and then manage to get into the house..and past the really bad dog that lives indoors…well then you are really screwed…

One of the first articals of clothing I put on every morning..is a concealed 9mm..

The worst thing about this neighborhood is..if you get caught doing a home invasion..we will work you for about a week before we kill you and dispose of your body..deep in the woods..

I always thought it would be cool to doll yourself up like one of those suicide bombers..could you imagine the look on the face of the person trying to commit a crime against you..when it finally hit them that you were gonna blow them up..

Well what induced the home invasion..or murder..or rape..?

Surely these folks are being violent towards these criminals to provoke them into committing crimes against them…

In my world…violence stops crime…point blank..

I’m not saying these people are not terrible, but do we really want to premeditate committing a crime and make ourselves no better than they are?

For a long time, I thought constantly about what I’d like to do to the man who killed my dad. It ate away at me, and I ended up in a severe depression. Now, while I can’t forgive the man, I don’t want to harm him. But I would like for him to know that he completely wrecked my family. No one in my family has ever been the same since that day. We’re finally getting back to being able to function normally, but it caused a massive split in my previously close-knit family that will likely never be repaired.

When was the last time you reported on the police showing up at a stand-off with a handful of flowers for the criminal?

Violence will set you free…been there..done that…never suffered severe depression or even missed a meal over it..

You condition your mind to adapt to the surroundings offered to you at the time..and to live with it afterwards..

If you are attacked and dont show some signs of violence…your chances of dying will increase drastically..

Now all of that doesn’t mean that if provoked I wouldn’t fight back… What do you think I am - a pacifist? : )

I just won’t harm someone if there is any other way to prevent them from hurting me or mine. I have no problem with guns or any other means of protecting your family. I just will not use those methods unless there is no other way out.

My family is far too valuable to waste time weighing out the proper method to use..

Cross that thin line where I believe my family is in danger and I become the most prolific killer you will ever cross paths with..

Am I right in doing so? Probably not!
