Sayonara, Terrell Owens

Of course there is more than one school of thought on whether Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones should have released Terrell Owens. Considering the fact that the Cowboys haven’t won a playoff game in 13 years, can it really hurt?

Felton definitely belongs

I admit I had my doubts about Raymond Felton in the NBA. Sure, the Latta native put up phenomenal numbers in leading the Vikings to two state titles.
Felton was a great college player at North Carolina and was a member of the 2005 national title team.

Barkley is game for Haney’s monumental task

The dedication and work ethic it takes for an athlete to succeed at the highest level is really quite remarkable. Even though he has been retired from professional basketball since 2000, Charles Barkley looks like he still has what it takes to correct his horrible golf swing.

Hoping, praying for missing players, families

I can’t imagine and never want to experience what the families and friends of Marquis Cooper, Corey Smith and William Bleakley are going through. I hope Cooper and Smith, the two NFL players, and Bleakley, a former South Florida football player, all still missing from the boating accident off Florida’s Gulf Coast, are found alive. But it doesn’t look good.
