No debating who is the best
With the men’s and women’s college basketball seasons coming to a close, one thing was evident the best teams won the titles.
Take the men’s championship with North Carolina defeating hometown Michigan State.

Gamble doesnt pay off
It easy to second-guess a decision that happens in a game.
As sports fans, we all do it.

Time to give Bowyer his due
When will Clint Bowyer start getting some respect?
I mean the Richard Childress Racing driver has made the Chase two straight years and is in second in points far this season.

Everybody ready for .... hockey playoffs?
Since the Pride, and to a lesser extent the Cyclones, left Florence, I know hockey isn’t on the minds of most people in the area.

Right decision
Jordan Lyles made the right move.
The former Hartsville standout bypassed a chance to play for Ray Tanner and South Carolina last year after he was taken by the Houston Astros with the 38th pick in the Major League Baseball draft.
Financially, it was a smart move. He got a $900,000 signing bonus and is able to give himself a nice cushion.

MLB Network doing things right so far
When it was announced that Major League Baseball was launching its own TV network, I had my doubts about how fair and unbiased it would be.
