At 1-3 and a game against Furman, is it too early for Coastal Carolina to panic? Yes.
No one expected the Chanticleers to resemble the team that went 9-3 last season and made a trip to the postseason. They lost 36 players and have faced a brutal schedule in which four of their first five opponents were ranked at one point in the I-AA poll.

Not that it matters, but Southern Cal got bumped from No. 1 by AP poll voters for the wrong reasons.

A big upset for the Wild Gators.  But is Lake View really that good, or is Carvers Bay not as good as we thought?  I’ll tell you what I’m thinkin’ about that and more in this week’s edition.

The Gamecocks weren’t as impressive as some would have liked against Mississippi State on Saturday, but finding a way to win shows progress.

Steve Spurrier was right. South Carolina was anything but focused in the first half against Mississippi State.

If South Carolina isn’t careful today, Mississippi State could bite them where it hurts. These aren’t the same pushover Bulldogs of years past.
