Black Friday: Santa is coming to town!Now that Thanksgiving is over, we can all start preparing for Santa to come to town! Many shoppers in the Pee Dee are doing just that today. Thousands turned out across the Eastern Carolinas to find the perfect gifts for their family and friends.
Shoppers are still out in full force at Magnolia Mall in Florence...all searching for the perfect holiday gifts. Some shoppers said they were looking for clothes while others were shopping for electronics.
While covering Black Friday, I stopped by Best Buy to see what were the hot items of the season. Chad Huggins, manager of Best Buy, fills me in on some of the items his customers purchased since the store opened 5 a.m.
It’s official--the Christmas shopping season has begun. Magnolia Mall in Florence is extremely busy today as shoppers scurry around from store to store in search of the perfect gifts.
Shoppers are still going strong. I ran into one shopper who was in the of giving to a needy child.
While you’re out shopping for Christmas gifts, remember that it’s not just about buying the hottest items for you friends and family. It’s also a time to give to the less fortunate, the poor, the hungry and the needy.
Shocked? Yeah, I was too. I purposely left Wally World for the last stop on my trip, expecting it to be total mayhem.
Black Friday is here and I’m out in the middle of it. Traffic was actually not that bad at 6:30 a.m. I guess I missed the rush (whew).
Although parking seemed to be an issue at Circuit City, it was controlled chaos inside the store.
Wish me luck everyone. This is a time of year when I often choose to aviod stores altogether, unless there’s some special gift out there for someone I love at an amazing price. Wel,, anyway, wish me luck, I’m going in…
