I found out that when I was in the hospital a few weeks ago, I missed seeing the host of my favorite TV show in person.
A co-worker told me when I got back to work her friend ran into Mike Rowe, of The Discovery Channel show “Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe,” at a Florence restaurant.

So I opened up a Christmas present from my parents a couple of days ago, it was blue jeans. It was the pair I told them I wanted. They were my correct size, but I couldn’t get them past my hips.
Gas prices in our area are up 30%, and airfare is up 16% (according to AAA). It makes you wonder if you choose to take a long road trip to your destination instead of flying, are you really going to save a lot of money? Well, at least our wallets will get a break in one area – rental cars. AAA reports that rental car rates on average are actually down 4% from last year.

So the pressure is on for all involved in getting ready, and pulling off these very big events.
