And traffic in and around the convention center will be redirected at times, and definitely very busy.

Stacie Somers of San Diego is suing Apple claiming the exclusive nature of its music system restricts consumer choice. The lawsuit was filed on December 31st in the US District Court in Northern California. It seeks to obtain class action status, and it’s the latest of several lawsuits that claim Apple has an unfair hold on the online music market.

Gas prices in our area are up 30%, and airfare is up 16% (according to AAA). It makes you wonder if you choose to take a long road trip to your destination instead of flying, are you really going to save a lot of money? Well, at least our wallets will get a break in one area – rental cars. AAA reports that rental car rates on average are actually down 4% from last year.
On the morning show today and yesterday, we’ve seen video of the severe weather pounding the Northeast and the Midwest – where snow is measured in feet… not inches.
I keep in touch with so many people through email. In the newsroom, we use email to get information to one another and then post it on the web for our viewers. I use email to keep in touch with my friends in cities throughout the country. It’s such an easy way to say a quick hello… confirm plans… even send a birthday card!
