Rain and Snow Detected on Mars
It has long been specutated that water carved the canyons observed on the red planet. There is now evidence that it once rained on Mars, and there may even be snow.

Mini Marco Sets Records
If you blinked, you missed it. About a month ago we had a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico that set a record not because it was a huge monster…. it set records because it was so tiny.

The winter forecast
We are a few weeks week into fall, and many people are already asking what the winter will be like. Personally, I do not place much faith in the seasonal forecasts, but there is some skill in making the forecasts, and some global weather patterns can be forecast several months ahead of time.
