It took me a really long time to do it, but I finally got five stars on every song on easy mode yesterday. Yeah, it’s set to easy, but that doesn’t always mean all of the songs are actually easy.
So last night I played Guitar Hero III online for the first time since I got the game. A former co-worker and I got together early in the evening to play a few rounds and later in the night, I got together with a current co-worker to play a few rounds. This was actually the first time I’ve ever played against anyone at this game and I found out I’m not that good.
If you read my blog yesterday, you already know that I was expecting my Xbox 360 to come back from being repaired today. Well, I got a Xbox back, but it wasn’t my original, which is perfectly fine with me.
Well, last Thursday I call 800-4MY-XBOX to check the progress of my second repair. I was excited to learn that it had been fixed and shipped, again. The operator gave me the tracking number and I’ve been checking it at least five times a day to check it’s progress.
Earlier today, I walked back to one of the edit bays to ask Michelle Carolla a question. She had the door closed when I went to speak with her, so I decided to close it back when the conversation was done. Well, when I closed the door, I didn’t get my pinkie out in time.
Well, today was supposed to be my happy day. The day that I got my Xbox 360 back. All day long I checked my tracking number to see if it had been delivered. Finally, about 12:30 p.m., it was delivered to my house. I couldn’t wait to go home for lunch. My husband left it unopened so I could take it out and hook it up. I played Guitar Hero III for about 10 minutes, added some time to my Live account, then passed it over to my husband. He starts playing Halo 3 on Xbox Live. He gets only a few seconds into the match and then the console freezes. We turn it off for about a minute, turn it back on and it does nothing. The green power indicator was on, but the green rings weren’t and the screen was black.
Probably a little over a month ago I remember hearing people were trying to classify video games as an addition like video poker. I also remember thinking, “You have got to be kidding me. It’s a freaking video game!“ Well, now that I have been without my 360, I am now reconsidering my initial thoughts on the subject.
One of my absolute favorite bands ever and, in my opinion, one of the best bands of my time, are supposed to release a new album sometime in 08 (I believe fall). The question is though, will it actually sound like No Doubt or will it be more of that “Rock Steady” crap?
So, I go home for my lunch break. Sit down and eat. I have a few minutes to spare before I go to work, so I decide to play Guitar Hero III. I turn the Xbox 360 and I get the three flash red lights all Xbox fanatics fear.
So we opened out presents Sunday night because we’re going to be busy this today (Christmas Eve). Christmas Eve is when my husband and I usually open our presents. Actually, to be honest, we did good this year to wait until the day before Christmas Eve. Last year we gave each other our presents almost a month early. We always try to shoot for Christmas Eve though!
So I opened up a Christmas present from my parents a couple of days ago, it was blue jeans. It was the pair I told them I wanted. They were my correct size, but I couldn’t get them past my hips.
So, I got an early Christmas present last night, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
For at least two weeks now I have been trying to get to a skill level of 40 in Lonewolves. For those of you who don’t know what I am talking about, I’m talking about matchmaking on Halo 3.
Hi there. Pretty much, none of you would know me, so let me introduce myself… My name is Ashlee Buckner and I am a Production Coordinator for scnow.com.
