First off, I just want to say to everyone that I hope you had very happy holidays.
So, I’m a huge fan of Pink. Her new album “Funhouse” came out yesterday. I went to Best Buy during my lunch break to pick the album up. I have to honestly say, I’m not too disappointed with it.
So the co-ed softball team I play on, D’Lucks, are now 10-1. It was almost 9-2 last night though.
So, this past Saturday was my birthday. I figured it was just going to be another day. You know when you get older, though, birthdays don’t really mean much to you anymore. Not that I have a problem about getting older, it’s just not the same as when you were in school and living with your parents. This birthday, however, was one of the most exciting I’ve had in a while.
...play softball. We’re halfway through the season and we’ve had some really great games and a few bad, but it’s been a blast the entire way! We’re currently 7-4 (I’m pretty sure).
Now, I didn’t have high expectations for the game to begin with, but once I rented it…. and beat it in five hours, although I had low expectations for the game they were not even close to being met.
...and out of shape. I finally found a softball team to play on, but it’s made me realized that I’m not a teenager anymore.
The past few weeks of my life have been pretty eventful…. From working on the new scnow.com to working at the Dodge Challenger 500, I’ve been pretty busy.
Let’s face it, everyone has challenging days at work. I have today, so I’m going to share a few images from http://icanhascheezburger.com that made me smile.
My husband and I went to the House of Blues last night for the Seether/Flyleaf/Red show. We went mainly for Seether, as I’m sure mostly everyone did. But, I have to tell you, Seether had a tough act to follow because Flyleaf really rocked the house.
This past Sunday my husband and I decided to trade in our PlayStation2 and all of the games to get some things for the Xbox 360. We ended up leaving the store with a boat load of stuff.
....because I’ve moved on to Rock Band! Two Saturdays ago I bought the Rock Band game and drums. Since then, I’ve already beat it on easy and medium using the drums. But with this game, it doesn’t end there. Once you’ve beat it on one instrument, you can move on to another.
I haven’t played softball for about seven or eight years, but this year I have a great urge to get back in the game. I used to live and breath the game, now I hardly ever take out my gear.
I’ve been thinking about writing about this all week. I’m one of those bargain shoppers. It’s very rare that I actually pay full price for something. The only thing that I may pay full price for is something that relates to gaming, and still, that’s pretty rare.
When I first got my little Scion tC, three years ago, I remember it only cost $25 to fill it up. The last time I went to the pump I put 10 bucks in my car, I only got a fourth of a tank of gas. This means the next time I’m on empty and go to fill up, it’s going to cost me $40. That’s an additional five dollars for each year I’ve had my car.
