Mark Martin announced Wednesday he is going to run full-time Sprint Cup Series again next year.
This does definitely not surprise me. I know the deal was for him to run 26 races next year Brad Keselowski to likely run the other 10 races. But Martin is having too much fun right now.
And who can blame him?
There is less controversy surrounding Kyle Busch this year when he heads to Darlington this weekend.
A week before last year’s Darlington race, Junior Nation was in an uproar after Busch nudged Dale Earnhardt Jr. during the closing laps to win at Richmond.

When will Clint Bowyer start getting some respect?
I mean the Richard Childress Racing driver has made the Chase two straight years and is in second in points far this season.
Racing at Martinsville always is interesting and fun to watch.
Jordan Lyles made the right move.
The former Hartsville standout bypassed a chance to play for Ray Tanner and South Carolina last year after he was taken by the Houston Astros with the 38th pick in the Major League Baseball draft.
Financially, it was a smart move. He got a $900,000 signing bonus and is able to give himself a nice cushion.
Some people were complaining this week with the lack of upsets and how this year’s NCAA tournament has been a little boring.
To me, it can’t be further from the truth. Sure, there have been some bad games there always is. But the late games Friday through Sunday were as good as it gets.
The Francis Marion women’s basketball team had it season end Monday against Clayton State in the Southeast Regional final.
